For Federico, 2019 was one of those “unique vintages where the growing season was close to perfect.” He compares it to the legendary vintage of 1985, where “everything [came] at the right time.” The Selvapiana Chianti Rufina 2019 has a lovely colour, ripe red cherry character, fine tannins, and a bite of fresh acidity on the finish.
